What's Cowork?

Claude Cowork is Claude's agentic mode for complex, multi-step work. You describe the outcome you need, and Claude plans the task, breaks the work into steps, uses the tools you have enabled, and produces a finished deliverable.

Cowork is available on paid Claude plans. You can use it on desktop, web, and mobile, although web and mobile access may still be rolling out to your plan.

The desktop app offers the fullest experience. It's required when Cowork needs to reach local files, your browser, or apps on your computer.
